The annual superintendent competition is held for elementary and middle schoolers in Alachua County. Kids compete for their school by answering questions as a team. During the awards ceremony, we honor both the teams that did well at the competition and students that preformed well on the Math Olympiad series throughout the year.
Each summer, the Buchholz Math team runs a 4-week camp for students who have completed Algebra 1 and are looking to improve their skills. The curriculum and running of the camp is done by students on the math team.
